I had a dream that I was observing a battlefield here on American soil.
The scene looked like the Civil War and everyone was on horseback. It looked and felt like the 1800’s, however, it was modern day.
I don’t know who I was with, but I said to them, “I can’t believe this is happening!” I was incredulous that this war was happening here and now in present day.
As if to prove it was the present time in my dream, I remember sort of zooming in and seeing faces up close. The faces I saw were of current American actors. Upon reflecting on the dream afterward, I thought this was weird at first, but I think it was just to show me that it was happening in present times.
The interesting thing was that, in the dream I had zero fear. Even though I was watching a war take place, I knew that I was just observing. I didn’t feel like I was walking on the battleground or riding a horse. I felt like I was floating and moving across it.
Then the scene changed and I was in my house where I live now and we were looking for places to hide. Nothing was happening yet, but we knew it was coming, and we were planning out our secret hiding places in closets for when we needed them. In the dream, I felt like we knew that a Gestapo-like force would be coming to look for us very soon. And then I woke up.
